Scott Glauberman Recognized as Class Action “Rising Star” by Law360
March 16, 2012
Winston & Strawn litigation partner Scott Glauberman, based in the firm’s Chicago office, was recognized as a 2012 Rising Star by Law360, listed as one of five class action attorneys under 40 to watch.
Mr. Glauberman, who was previously recognized by Law360 for his excellent work in product liability, “has successfully defended major corporate clients in some of the most-watched class actions in recent memory, including the Countrywide Financial Corp. subprime case and the so-called McDonald's obesity case.“
Larry Desideri, managing partner of Winston & Strawn’s Chicago office, said: "Scott has been one of our top performers since he arrived. He's the real deal."
On his interest in class action work, Mr. Glauberman said "I find class actions interesting because they raise fundamental issues of fairness for all sides. That keeps class action on the cutting edge of the law, and it's a place where good lawyering can make a difference."
Scott Glauberman handles complex commercial matters, prominently including accounting and auditing cases and individual and class action consumer and product liability cases.
