Strategic Partnership between Planet O and NetEase Games

Winston & Strawn LLP advised Planet O HK Limited (“Planet O”) on its strategic partnership with NetVios, a joint venture between NetEase (NASDAQ: NTES) and the leading U.S. virtual reality game studio, Survios. Planet O operates facilities that provide technology-driven social entertainment combined with next generation of virtual reality, mixed reality, and eSports gaming, with its first entertainment center expected to open in Shanghai, China, in H2 2020. The strategic partnership, fulfilled through a joint venture between Planet O and NetVios, will bring major titles such as Raw Data, Creed, Beat Saber, Glimmer Grove, Battlewake and future new IPs, such as HBO’s Westworld, onto Planet O's Location Based Entertainment Platform in China.
