Three Winston Attorneys Named to Latinvex’s Top 100 Female Lawyers List

Winston Attorneys Mariana Pendas, Julissa Reynoso, and Cari Stinebower were named to Latinvex’s Top 100 Female Lawyers list. The publication’s eighth annual ranking looked at nearly 100 law firms and selected attorneys across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Cayman Islands, and the British Virgin Islands. The 2020 list was compiled based on major deals and business, prominence of firms in Latin America, and rankings by organizations including Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, and Thomson Reuters.
Mariana was recognized in the FCPA & Fraud category. She advises clients on U.S. and European economic sanctions, anti-money laundering, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws and regulations. Mariana also has extensive experience in conducting FCPA and AML internal investigations and participating in international commercial arbitrations.
Julissa was recognized in the Arbitration & Litigation category. She focuses her practice on international arbitration, international litigation, and complex commercial litigation. Her legal experience includes analyzing and advising on complex cross-border transactions and conducting complex arbitrations under the major international rules, including ICC and UNCITRAL, and bilateral investment treaty disputes under the Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA).
Cari was recognized in FCPA & Fraud, as well as in the Trade category. She practices in the area of economic sanctions, export controls, and anti-money laundering. With over twenty years of government and private sector experience, Cari counsels clients on how to navigate the complex web of government regulations.
