Winston Advises on Proximo America’s 2022 “North America Leisure Deal of the Year”

Winston & Strawn is proud to have advised on Proximo America’s 2022 “North America Leisure Deal of the Year,” which was awarded to the renovation financing of CFG Bank Arena (f/k/a Baltimore Arena) at Proximo’s Financing America’s Infrastructure 2023 ceremony.

Winston represented an Oak View Group affiliate in connection with the project. The reimagined facility—Maryland’s largest entertainment venue—opened in April 2023 with 13,000+ seats built to accommodate world class concerts, important regional sporting events, and live entertainment. Also notable is the arena’s absence of a major sports-franchise anchor tenant. The Winston team advised on all financing aspects.

The Proximo America “Deal of the Year” awards celebrate the most notable and innovative deals across the region in the project, energy, and infrastructure finance sectors. This year’s winners were announced at the Proximo Financing America’s Infrastructure 2023 event hosted in Nashville, TN on May 23-24, 2023.
