Winston & Strawn, in partnership with Black Connect, recently presented a virtual Business Formation Basics webinar on business and legal considerations when forming a new business entity. The presentation covered a range of topics including:
- Types of business entities
- Limited liability and when it applies
- C-Corps. versus S-Corps.
- Tax implications
- Restructurings
The Business Formation Basics training was the second program in a series of empowering legal education courses presented by Winston & Strawn in partnership with Black Connect, a nonprofit dedicated to leveling the economic playing field for Black Americans.
