Winston & Strawn and ICC Co-Host The Application of New York Law in Latin American Arbitrations

Winston & Strawn and the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) co-hosted a half-day program titled “The Application of New York Law in Latin American Arbitrations” on May 21 in the firm’s New York office. The program featured roundtable discussions with counsel from varied jurisdictions, in-house counsel, and institutions examining the use of New York law in disputes arising out of Latin America. Panelists shed light on the decision-making process when choosing New York law, the frequency with which they encounter it in their practice, and other considerations and observations from their experience. A networking lunch followed the discussions.
