Winston & Strawn Hosts Leadership and Communication Workshop with Internationally Acclaimed Author and Neuroscientist

Winston was pleased to host a CLE and interactive workshop, “The Neuroscience Behind Leading Through Change,” led by Dr. Helena Boschi, internationally acclaimed neuroscientist and author of Why We Do What We Do, in our New York office to an audience of 50+ financial services clients and friends.

Attendees learned about the power and pitfalls of language and the science behind what we say and how we say it. Throughout the program, Dr. Boschi explained how to hone business leaders’ understanding of the neuroscience of effective workplace communication, organizational management, and employee well-being, specifically through times of change and uncertainty. 

At the reception following, Dr. Boschi shared her number one tip for sharpening our skills to adapt to change: “Do something new every day—little n, not big N. Challenging yourselves every day will help prepare you for the inevitable changes and uncertainty that you will face.”
