Winston & Strawn Represented May River Capital in the Formation of Advanced Material Processing and in Acquisition of Kason Corporation

Winston & Strawn represented May River Capital (May River), a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on lower middle-market industrial growth companies, in the establishment of Advanced Material Processing (AMP), a new platform company focused on material processing equipment for such sectors as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and chemical. Concurrently, Winston represented May River in the completion of its acquisition of Kason Corporation, which will be a part of AMP along with an existing May River portfolio company—Marion Process Solutions.

The Winston team was led by Corporate Partner Gregory Bynan and included Phil Ratner, Alessandra Swanson, Becky Troutman, Nick Usher, and Merav Watson.
