Winston Associates Named Among Lone Star Legal Aid’s 2022-2023 Outstanding Pro Bono Volunteers

Winston & Strawn associates Madison Bennett and Michael Carlisi received accolades from Lone Star Legal Aid (LSLA) in acknowledgement of their exceptional contributions to the organization during the 2022-2023 bar year; Madison was awarded the Outstanding Volunteer Award and Michael received the Outstanding Pro Bono Volunteer Award.

Madison was honored by LSLA’s Houston office which serves as the organization’s headquarters and supports the largest county in Texas. As described by the organization, “Since starting to volunteer with LSLA in 2022, Madison has closed 17 cases and continues to work on a more complex family matter. She has contributed over 40 hours of pro bono legal services during the Bar Year, and this does not include the time spent on her current open matter. Madison is resilient, taking on exceedingly more complicated matters outside the scope of her everyday practice.” 

Dallas associate Michael Carlisi merited a local Outstanding Pro Bono Volunteer Award for his dedication and extensive work for the organization.
