Winston Attorneys Secure Win for Kyrgyzstan in UNCITRAL Cases

Winston & Strawn represents Kyrgyzstan in three UNCITRAL cases, two of which recently ended in victory for the state: A U.S. national withdrew an UNCITRAL claim against Kyrgyzstan over the nationalization of its largest commercial bank and the state won costs over the withdrawal last year of a separate claim by the bank's former chairman and a U.S. holding company. The third case is currently ongoing.
