Winston Earns Perfect Score on Corporate Equality Index for 14 Consecutive Years

Winston & Strawn LLP is pleased to have received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and to have earned the designation of being a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality” for the 14^th year in a row. The CEI is the nation’s leading benchmark for measuring corporate policies, practices and benefits related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.

“We are extremely proud and gratified to have earned this important recognition of our commitment to LGBTQ+ rights and equality for 14 straight years,” said David Sakowitz, co-chair of the Winston PRIDE affinity group and co-chair of Winston’s Capital Markets practice.

This year, which marks the 20^th anniversary of the CEI, 1,271 companies participated in the survey. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 CEI rates companies on four foundational pillars for LGBTQ+ equality:

• Non-discrimination policies across business entities
• Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families
• Supporting an inclusive culture
• Corporate social responsibility
