Winston Partners Receive Shout Out in Litigator of the Week Column

Winston & Strawn partners Dan Webb, Sean Wieber, and Sam Mendenhall were featured in the Litigator of the Week column by The Am Law Litigation Daily on December 8, 2023.

The recognition stems from the First District Appellate Court in Illinois upholding their appointment as special counsel, as well as the convictions and sentence of Jussie Smollett in the high-profile criminal matter in which the actor staged a fake hate-crime assault in Chicago in January 2019 and lied to investigators about it. Dan was previously recognized as Litigator of the Week after he served as special prosecutor in the case.
