Winston Receives NYSBA President’s Pro Bono Large Law Firm Award

On May 2, Winston & Strawn was recognized at the New York State Bar Association’s 31st Annual President’s Pro Bono Service Awards. Winston was the only large law firm recognized during the event and was lauded for its dedication to pro bono legal service not only in New York State, but across the nation. Winston’s Pro Bono practice has developed dozens of signature projects that have had a direct impact on hundreds of lives across New York State. In 2021, Winston’s U.S.-based attorneys worked on more than 900 pro bono matters and dedicated 70,000 hours to pro bono legal service.

Winston was nominated for this prestigious award by the Lawyers Alliance for New York, Legal Aid Society (NY), and the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest. Pro Bono Counsel Tara Moss accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
