Winston & Strawn partner Keerthika Subramanian and associate Greg Garcia were named as recipients of a 2025 Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award as part of The Burton Awards for Legal Achievement. As described by the organization, this award is “revered as one of the most prestigious recognitions in the legal field, acknowledging legal excellence, leadership, and innovation in the legal profession.”
The Burton Awards, held at the Library of Congress, have reached an esteemed status as the pinnacle of legal recognition globally, celebrating monumental achievements and the quest for excellence in law. The Burton Awards are run in association with the Library of Congress, presented by lead sponsor Law360, and co-sponsored by the American Bar Association and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
The Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award recognizes the 20 best articles authored by law firm partners and their co-authors within the past year. The winners of the Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Awards were chosen from nominations submitted by the United States’ 1,000 largest law firms.
The team’s article, titled “Equity Rights Offering Considerations as Maturity Cliff Looms,” was honored for its exceptional legal analysis. Originally published by Law360 last year, it stood out for its clarity, cogency, and persuasive commentary.
Winners will be honored at an awards ceremony at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. on May 19, 2025.
