Winston’s New Paris Transactions Team Featured in Décideurs Magazine

A group consisting of four partners, one of counsel, and six associates, has joined Winston & Strawn’s Paris office. Led by Mounir Letayf (banking and finance), Jean-Patrice Labautiere (M&A and private equity) and Bertrand Dussert (tax law), the group is an important addition in a highly competitive market. Gilles Bigot, managing partner of Winston & Strawn in Paris, explained what the new team means for the firm’s capabilities. “Before this group joined our firm, we weren’t able to provide comprehensive services on important corporate deals. Now we can be retained to handle private equity, finance, and tax work.”

By further strengthening the firm’s corporate/M&A department headed by Jérôme Herbet, Winston & Strawn’s Paris office is able to “achieve one of the objectives set by the firm's global management two years ago," says Bigot, who is involved in the firm’s global strategy as a member of the executive committee. The four new partners have been working together since 2017, and are looking forward to continuing their working relationship at Winston & Strawn. While they are proud of what they achieved previously, they are looking forward to going even further, especially with work that extends outside Paris.
