What Is the Purple Book?

Maintained by the FDA, the Purple Book lists biologic products and biosimilar products that FDA has licensed under the Public Health Service Act. In addition, the Purple Book identifies the date each biologic obtained FDA licensure and indicates whether any biosimilar is interchangeable with its associated reference product.
