Joe is an associate in the firm's Chicago office and focuses his practice on a broad range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
Joe assists clients with their qualified retirements plans, health and welfare benefits, EBEC due diligence, and executive compensation plans and agreements.
In addition to providing legal service to his corporate clients, Joe maintains an active pro bono practice, in which he advocates on behalf of students in special education and assists Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients in renewing their immigration status in the United States.
Prior to joining the firm, Joe worked as a law clerk at a law firm in Champaign, Illinois, where he focused on labor and employment matters. He was also a PILI Fellow for Equip for Equality in Chicago, Illinois, where he advocated on behalf of students in special education.
Joe received his B.A., summa cum laude, in American History and Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2016, where he achieved Dean’s List recognition and was a member of Phi Betta Kappa (Academic Honor Society.) He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2019, where he was a member of the Elder Law Journal.
