Tanielle focuses her practice on financial services litigation and has experience with complex commercial litigation, government investigations, and risk management.
Tanielle focuses her practice on financial services litigation, specifically in the areas of home mortgage foreclosures, default, servicing, and loss mitigation. She has defended financial institutions in state and federal court throughout the country in a wide range of matters involving consumer financial services litigation, including those involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as other state and federal consumer protection laws.
Tanielle is part of the Winston team that manages a large portfolio of mortgage-related disputes for one of the nation’s largest financial institutions. She is also currently defending a multinational home appliance manufacturer against allegations of products liability, including negligence, strict liability, breach of warranty, and consumer protection violations.
Tanielle received a B.A. in Political Science from Winston-Salem State University in 2004 and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2007.
