Robert Larkin
Associate
Robert is a litigation associate in Winston’s Dallas office.
Prior to joining the firm, Robert clerked for the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. During his clerkship, Robert gained exposure to a variety of civil matters, including cases that involved breach of contract, employment disputes, fraud, and trademark infringement. Robert’s clerkship experience built upon his two previous judicial internships with Judge Mazzant.
While in law school, Robert represented criminal defendants in Dallas County courts as part of the SMU Dedman School of Law Criminal Clinic. Robert also served as a research assistant for one of the nation’s leading Second Amendment scholars, Professor Eric Ruben.

Education
Robert received his J.D., magna cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law where he was an Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Robert received his B.A. in Journalism, with High Honors, from the University of Texas at Austin.
