David Reimer

David serves as a liaison between attorneys in the department and firm management working collaboratively to define and achieve the growth, productivity, and profitability goals of the practice.

David leads the practice development aspects of the corporate department helping to develop and implement client acquisition, retention, and expansion programs. Working with cross-functional teams, he is also responsible for process improvement initiatives focused on practice management, financial reporting and analytics, product pricing and benchmarking, workforce and legal project management, and delivering services more efficiently to the firm’s clients.

Additionally, David plays an integral role in helping the Corporate Practice achieve its lateral growth objectives. He works closely with the department chair and firm wide managing partner with respect to both lateral partner recruiting and integration efforts.

David has nearly 20 years of experience working in senior operational and practice development roles for national and global professional services firms. Prior to being named Winston & Strawn’s director of corporate practice operations, he served as the director of global practice development for the firm’s Corporate Department.
