Andrew Stevenson
Associate
Andrew is a litigation associate whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, class actions, and government and internal investigations.
Andrew has significant experience in handling many aspects of the litigation process, including engaging in discovery and investigations, drafting motions and briefs, preparing witnesses, and participating in contested final hearings. He has represented sophisticated clients in complex civil and commercial dispute proceedings in both federal and state courts, as well as arbitration proceedings. He has also been engaged in matters involving government and internal investigations.
Prior to joining Winston, Andrew was a litigation associate at one of Colorado’s most prominent law firms, as well as the Chicago office of an international law firm. Andrew has further developed his legal skills through judicial clerkships for the Honorable Veronica S. Rossman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Honorable Terrence G. Berg of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Levying his private practice and federal clerkship experience, Andrew helps clients and individuals successfully navigate complex disputes and investigations across a variety of industries and forums.
Andrew also has a strong passion for the intersection of law and technology, having developed a keen interest in legal issues relating to blockchain technology and digital assets.
Andrew maintains an active pro bono practice and has experience representing plaintiffs in cases seeking relief for constitutional violations under 42 U.S.C. § 1983.

Education
Andrew received his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School in 2016, where he was a member of The University of Chicago Legal Forum, actively participated in the Edwin F. Mandel Legal Aid Clinic, and served as a professional development chair for the Black Law Students Association. Andrew received his B.A., magna cum laude, in philosophy from Elon University in 2013.
