Mike Toomey
Associate
Mike’s prior professional experience working at the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition, the Federal Communications Commission, and as an analyst at an economic consulting firm provides him with a unique perspective that he applies to his antitrust litigation cases.
Before joining Winston & Strawn in 2015, Mike served as an intern with the Federal Communications Commission, primarily researching and analyzing a proposed telecommunications merger. He also served as an intern in the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition, where he investigated potential violations of antitrust laws. Mike also worked as an analyst at an economic consulting firm, primarily researching liability and damages issues to support expert testimony in antitrust litigation.

Mike received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science with High Honors, and a minor in Mathematics, from University of Michigan in 2009. He earned a J.D., cum laude, from Washington University School of Law in 2015, where he was a senior editor of the Washington University Law Review.
