Danielle focuses her practice on representing financing parties and tax equity investors in connection with the development and financing of renewable energy projects involving wind and solar power and storage projects throughout the United States.
She has worked on a number of renewable energy projects involving wind and solar power and storage projects throughout the country, including complex transactions involving construction financing, term loan financing, back-leverage financing, bridge financing, mezzanine financing, portfolio financings, community solar financings, storage financings, tax equity partnership flip transactions and inverted lease transactions. Danielle also has significant tax experience advising partnerships and corporations on tax issues in foreign and domestic transactions, including multi-jurisdictional mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.
Danielle served on the firm’s Associates Committee and Recruiting Committee, and she also is a member of the Winston Asian Leadership Initiative.
Danielle has experience working in the financial services industry and the federal government. Danielle worked at Ernst & Young LLP where she advised companies on international, federal, and state and local matters. She also worked as an attorney investigator for the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she investigated employment discrimination claims and negotiated disputes to prevent employment discrimination.
Danielle was recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America, for Energy Law in 2021–2024 and Project Finance Law in 2023–2024. She was listed as one of Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Energy Lawyers” for Renewable Energy in 2024.

Education
Danielle received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2009 and her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 2011. At Georgetown, she received the CALI Award for Excellence in Global Indirect Tax: The VAT.
