Winston & Strawn LLP advised MacLean Power Systems (“MPS”), a subsidiary of MacLean-Fogg Co. and a leading manufacturer of products for transmission, distribution, substation, and communications infrastructure, with respect to a majority investment from Centerbridge Partners, L.P. MacLean-Fogg will continue to hold a minority ownership position in MPS following the transaction, which will allow MacLean-Fogg to continue investing in strategic products in its remaining business lines and expand product offerings.

The Kleinfelder Group Acquires Gas Transmission Systems
Winston & Strawn LLP represented The Kleinfelder Group, Inc. (“Kleinfelder”), a San Diego, California-based engineering, design, construction management, construction materials inspection and testing, and environmental professional services firm, in the acquisition of Gas Transmission Systems, Inc. (“GTS”). Headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, GTS provides pipeline engineering, consulting, and program management services to gas utilities and pipeline operators with a focus on infrastructure integrity management and rehabilitation. The combination will further expand Kleinfelder’s energy infrastructure services and capabilities. GTS operates out of five offices throughout California, Arizona, and Georgia. Kleinfelder is a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
