- Represented U.S. subsidiaries of a major Spanish construction and concession company in connection with financing and refinancing transactions related to highway projects in Texas and North Carolina, including capital markets, commercial bank, and U.S. private placement financing solutions.
- Currently representing the U.S. subsidiary of a major Spanish energy company in connection with the financing of a 200 MW solar project located in Texas.
- Represented a major Spanish concession company and affiliates in connection with the bridge financing and long-term project financing for a large highway project under the 4G Program in Colombia.
- Represented multiple Spanish energy companies in connection with the development, financing, construction, operation and disposition of renewable energy projects in Peru, Chile, Mexico and Panama.
- Transaction counsel in connection with the €1B renovation of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (home of Real Madrid).
- Represented a leading Spanish financial institution in connection with U.S. based Federal and State lawsuits and arbitration matters before the International Centre for Dispute Resolution and International Chamber of Commerce related to claims arising out of Bernard Madoff’s ponzi scheme.
- Defended a Spanish infrastructure company in Texas federal court against fiduciary duty and fraudulent transfer claims stemming from construction and bankruptcy disputes.
- Represented a Spanish-led consortium in numerous international arbitration proceedings arising out of expansions of the Panama Canal.
- Regularly representing a Spanish client in U.S. court litigation on discovery and privacy matters.
- Advised Spanish companies interested in understanding the applicability of U.S. sanctions including as related to Cuba, Russia and Iran, as well as the applicability of the Helms-Burton Act.
