Patrick Doerr
Associate
Patrick is a litigator who focuses his practice on white collar, government enforcement, internal investigations, and grand jury investigations for financial institutions and other companies.
He frequently assists clients in investigating, understanding, and navigating potential regulatory, criminal, and civil violations. He has worked on matters involving foreign exchange, tax credits, and consumer financial products, among others. Patrick also has experience defending companies in class action litigation and had a significant role in defending an individual in a multi-week trial in the largest public corruption case in North Carolina history.
Patrick also has a strong interest in pro bono representation and has assisted clients in a variety of matters including post-conviction relief efforts on behalf of indigent state and federal prisoners, class action representation of federal prisoners, veteran discharge upgrade petitions, and contractual and general advice for a non-profit educational institution.

Education
Patrick received a J.D., magna cum laude, in 2016 from Georgetown University Law Center where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif, served as an Articles and Notes Editor for the American Criminal Law Review, and was a member of the Appellate Advocacy Division of the Barrister’s Council. He received his B.S. in marketing and B.A. in English in 2001 from the University of Maryland.
