Scott is co-chair of Winston's Funds Practice group. He has extensive experience representing U.S. and non-U.S. private fund sponsors in the structuring, establishment, and operation of their funds. He has formed buyout, growth capital, energy and infrastructure, real estate, and venture capital funds ranging in size from US$50M to over US$15B of committed capital.

- Represented a large U.S. sponsor in the US$5B structuring and formation of a permanent capital vehicle whose units were publicly listed on Euronext Amsterdam.
- Represented a large Latin American sponsor in the structuring and formation of its US$700M buyout fund.
- Represented a large U.S. sponsor in the structuring and formation of a US$700M private equity fund targeting growth equity investments in Asia.
- Represented a large European sponsor in the structuring and formation of a €6B private equity fund targeting large buyouts in Europe.
- Represented a large family office on the structuring and formation of a US$400M million captive fund established to facilitate private equity investments by its family clients.
- Represented a U.S. sponsor in the structuring and formation of a US$300M private equity fund targeting growth equity investments in the communications and technology sectors.
