Associate
Brian focuses his practice on a wide array of intellectual property matters. Leveraging his background in biology and his experience at Notre Dame’s Intellectual Property Clinic, Brian helps clients defend their most valuable assets.
Brian has experience with intellectual property disputes involving a variety of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, mRNA vaccines, banking systems, AI technology, and medical devices. Brian has experience in all stages of district court litigation, including both bench and jury trials, and plays a key role in those stages, from developing case strategy, conducting discovery including taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, preparing witnesses, and drafting briefs.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian clerked at an IP litigation boutique and conducted legal research for Professor Mark P. McKenna at the University of Notre Dame Law School focusing on the intersection of trademark law and free speech.
Brian also maintains an active pro bono practice advocating for the rights of underserved populations.
Brian received his B.S., cum laude, in biology with a minor in religious studies from Davidson College in 2019. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2022, where he was the Executive Managing Editor of Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy.
