Matt Stevens

Matt advises clients with respect to a wide variety of corporate transactions, particularly focusing on M&A and private equity transactions, and has significant cross-border experience throughout the world. He also regularly advises publicly and privately held companies with respect to general corporate matters and complex commercial engagements.

Matt has advised clients on M&A and other private equity transactions of all sizes and degrees of complexity, and has represented a diverse base of clients, both large and middle market (and public and private alike).

His public company clients include Chart Industries, Amphenol Corporation, Illinois Tool Works, and TreeHouse Foods, among others.

His private equity clients include Equity Group Investments, Pritzker Private Capital, JLL Partners, Water Street Healthcare Partners, and RiverGlade Capital, among others (and including their portfolio companies).

Prior to joining the firm, Matt led the M&A legal function globally for a large international public company with a robust transactional pipeline (and was at another large international law firm prior to that experience). He also previously served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.
