Sam focuses his practice on a broad range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
Sam is an Associate Attorney in Winston’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group in New York. He assists clients with the employment, labor, compensation, and employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions, including executive employment agreements, severance agreements, equity and compensation arrangements, retirement plans, and welfare benefit plans. He also assists clients with executive compensation disclosure.
Prior to joining the firm, Sam was a Student Legal Advisor to the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Tonga to the United Nations. He also worked with the Dutch investigative journalism firm Lighthouse Reports as a Student Legal Clinician.
Sam received his B.A. in History and Political Science from Williams College in 2018. He received his J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law in 2022, where he was a Staff Editor at the Journal of Intellectual Property & Entertainment Law.
