Sarah focuses her practice on labor and employment and complex commercial litigation matters.
Sarah counsels clients on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour disputes, internal investigations, employee misclassification, as well as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and ERISA benefit claims. During her time at Winston, Sarah has gained significant litigation experience as a member of trial teams in both state and federal court. She has worked closely with lay and expert witnesses, led discovery efforts, and researched and drafted memoranda, motions, and briefs. In early 2023, she was part of the team that achieved a full defense verdict in a whistleblower jury trial in Illinois state court.

Education
Sarah received her B.A., with distinction, in international studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan in 2017. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Washington University School of Law, in 2021, where she was the executive editor of the Washington University Law Review. She was elected to the Order of the Coif and received the Charles Trobman Memorial Award. Sarah also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Practice I: Objective Analysis & Reasoning and in Immigration Law.
