Shannon focuses her practice on labor and employment and complex commercial litigation matters.
Shannon’s labor and employment experience includes defending employers in a variety of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims in both class actions and single-plaintiff matters. She has drafted pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal cases. In addition to her litigation practice, Shannon counsels clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, drafts employment contracts, workplace policies, and employee handbooks, and helps conduct investigations into employment-related disputes.
Shannon also maintains an active pro bono practice. She helped secure a landmark victory for a transgender woman who will soon be the first person in federal custody to receive gender-affirming surgery.

Education
Shannon received her B.A., summa cum laude, in political science and Spanish from Indiana University in 2017. She received her J.D. from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2020, where she was an Associate Editor at the Journal of Criminal Law & Criminology.
