Jennifer James Loughery
Associate
Jennifer is a litigation associate who concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation, antitrust litigation, and class actions.
As a member of a trial team, Jennifer has participated in jury research and jury selection; assisted with opening and closing statements; prepared expert witnesses for direct and cross-examination; and drafted dispositive motions. She has also assisted in the appeal of a complex arbitration award. Jennifer was extensively involved in the fact discovery of two multi-district antitrust class actions involving two different financial products. Jennifer also maintains an active pro bono practice and previously served on the firm’s Summer Associate Committee.
Most recently, Jennifer was a law clerk to the Honorable Jon E. DeGuilio of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) fellow at Equip for Equality, where she worked on matters advancing the civil rights of people with disabilities.
During law school, Jennifer was an extern for the Felony Trial Division at the Circuit Court of Cook County. She was also a law student advocate at the Cook County Domestic Violence Courthouse Project.

Education
Jennifer received her B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame in 2012. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law in 2016, where she was an Associate Editor of Notes and Comments for the DePaul Law Review. Jennifer was President of the Women’s Bar Association and elected to the Order of the Coif.
