Tyree Petty-Williams

In addition to complex commercial litigation, Tyree has represented clients in several industries. He has trial experience across practice areas such as product liability, patents, and trade secrets. Tyree has also worked on fact discovery and jury research; drafted pleadings, dispositive motions, appellate briefs, memoranda, and reports; assisted with interviews during internal investigations; and helped counsel clients and develop strong case strategies by analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law.

Prior to joining the firm, Tyree completed a fellowship with the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless where he focused on housing and education access for unhoused Chicagoans. In this role, Tyree prepared various criminal records relief documents, advocated for clients’ admission to public housing and education opportunities, and helped formerly incarcerated individuals obtain financial assistance.
