Alex is a trial lawyer who focuses on complex civil and criminal litigation. She has tried cases in state and federal courts in Texas, California, Colorado, and Delaware.
Alex is a trial lawyer with an extensive and broad range of experience in civil and criminal cases. She has tried cases to juries in state and federal court in Texas, California, Colorado, and Delaware. She has represented companies and individuals in cases throughout the United States involving allegations of patent infringement, illegal market allocation under the antitrust laws, healthcare fraud, business torts, federal civil rights violations, and a variety of commercial disputes. She was a key part of the trial team that obtained a full acquittal for a former Fortune 500 CEO in a landmark criminal antitrust prosecution. Alex has also assisted with jury selection, opening statements, direct and cross examinations, and closing arguments. She has also assisted in preparing fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, as well as preparing witnesses in connection with government investigations. She has led the design of trial and hearing graphics to assist the judge and jury in understanding complex technologies, financial transactions, and other elements of trial and hearing presentations. Alex also has substantial experience in the planning and execution of jury research exercises including mock trials and focus groups.
