Winston & Strawn Recognized in PEI Fund Formation League Table Ranking
Winston & Strawn has been ranked 4thon Private Equity International’s Fund Formation League Table based on the number of closed funds advised on and total capital of underlying vehicles with 35 total funds formed. The rankings cover blind pool private equity funds that had a final close date between October 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023. The 10 most active firms advised on at least 420 private equity funds over the qualifying period. By total value of funds closed, the top 10 firms gathered approximately $629 billion between them.

FWS Takes Next Step Toward a Revised Migratory Bird Incidental Take Permits Regime
On May 26, 2015, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service published a notice in the Federal Register indicating its intent to prepare a programmatic environmental impact statement pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of its proposal to create an incidental take permitting program under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
