Paul advises both established and emerging sponsors and asset managers on a broad range of matters, including fund formation, management company formation and internal economic arrangements, GP-led secondary transactions and other liquidity solutions, co-investments, portfolio company investments and exits, spin-outs and executive transitions, and strategic transactions such as investment manager acquisitions and minority “GP stakes” deals. Paul’s experience spans an array of asset classes and investment areas, including the buyout, real estate, credit and debt, growth equity and venture spaces.

In addition to his sponsor-side work, Paul regularly advises clients on complex commercial transactions, including buy-side and sell-side public and private company acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, joint ventures and preferred equity financings.
