Michael A. Meneghini

Michael has experience in all aspects of commercial litigation, including pretrial discovery and motion practice, trial, post-trial matters, and appeals. Michael also draws on his experience as a federal appellate clerk, having served as a law clerk to the Honorable Amy J. St. Eve of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Michael maintains an active pro bono practice. He briefed and argued the successful appeal in the Seventh Circuit of the dismissal of an inmate’s section 1983 complaint and continued to represent the inmate on remand, eventually negotiating a favorable settlement on the eve of trial. During law school, Michael briefed and argued criminal appeal, which resulted in the Seventh Circuit vacating one of the client’s convictions. Michael has also represented a criminal defendant in state court.
