Current and former Winston attorneys enjoyed reconnecting at the firm’s 4^th Annual Los Angeles Office Alumni Reunion held on November 13 at the NoMad Hotel.

Our people – past and present – are what make Winston a great place to work, so we were pleased to see so many come together at the firm’s 4th Annual Washington, D.C. Alumni Reception.

There was a great deal of buzz around Winston & Strawn’s much-anticipated annual Chicago alumni cocktail reception held on September 26. The venue for this year’s event, RPM on the Water, provided scenic views of the Chicago river and skyline, including Winston’s building at 35 West Wacker Drive.

Winston’s 2019 Bay Area Alumni Reception was held on May 9 at La Mar, where Silicon Valley Office Managing Partner Kathi Vidal greeted the 50+ alumni and firm members in attendance.

Winston & Strawn’s second annual New York Attorney Alumni Reception on February 5 provided a wonderful evening for former and current colleagues to reconnect and catch up. This anticipated event was hosted at Bryant Park Grill’s garden tent, which offered scenic views of the city and Asian-inspired eats in celebration of Chinese New Year.

Current and former Winston attorneys enjoyed reconnecting at the firm’s 3rd Annual Los Angeles Office Alumni Reunion held on November 7 at Otium’s rooftop mezzanine.

Winston alumni from near and far gathered on September 27 for the firm’s annual Chicago alumni cocktail reception.

As their signature 2018 Volunteer @ Winston project, the Chicago office Winston for Good team will participate in the 25th Annual Chicago Cares Serve-A-Thon. 

San Francisco was the first of Winston’s offices to hold an annual alumni reception, and it has become a tradition our current and former attorneys and professional staff look forward to each year.

The University of Michigan Law School’s 2018 1L Oral Advocacy Competition officially began on January 17 with a panel discussion presented by Winston litigation attorneys. 

Winston was pleased to host its inaugural New York alumni reception on February 28 at The Campbell in Grand Central Station.

Winston was pleased to welcome 200 George Washington University Law School admitted, current, and alumni students for a reception in our Washington, D.C. office on February 7. Firm members in attendance had the chance to speak with prospective students about their experiences at GW Law as well as life post-grad as a Winston attorney. 

As we gear up for law student recruiting in the new year, Winston took the opportunity to meet members of the University of Illinois College of Law Class of 2020 and the Washington University School of Law Class of 2020.

Winston welcomed 50 current and past firm members at our 2nd Annual Los Angeles Office Alumni Reunion held on October 26.

For the second consecutive year, Winston & Strawn’s Chicago office hosted approximately 80 University of Illinois College of Law 1L and LL.M. students for the law school’s inaugural Professional Experience Day. 

The La Granja room at Taberna del Alabardero was the site of Winston’s 2nd Annual Washington, D.C. Alumni Reception, held on September 28. 

The firm’s alumni program hosted its annual Chicago cocktail reception on the evening of September 13 at Raised | An Urban Rooftop Bar. 

Winston’s alumni program hosted a breakfast and CLE presentation at the Chicago office on May 23. More than 55 current attorneys and alums had time for casual conversation before Chicago Office Managing Partner Linda Coberly formally welcomed attendees and set the stage for the program speakers.
